Amelia took her first few steps today (August 10) ! WooHoo. :) 14 months old... I think she figured she didn't really need to walk with so many people willing to pick her up. But I'm guessing by mid September she'll be doing a toddler run :)
In this Christian life we start off as a baby, being held and fed and rocked... then we crawl, learning the truths of the Bible, then we start walking and eventually run, start taking stairs in triple... There's so much to learn, so many lies we need to extinguish from our thought lives, so much truth to apply, so much to share with others... Our Father in heaven loves us fully and can take us everywhere we need to get to and grow to in our Christian walk. It's all a matter of trusting Him. I suggest reading the Bible through in a fast sort of way along with "66 love letters" by Larry Crabb; you'll get to know God.. and my guess is that if you're not already hearing from Him you will soon enough.
