what's the point?

So as we traveled home yesterday, a 12 hour trip, I read through most of the NT.  I've just about completed reading the entire Bible since March.  The reverberation of the entire Bible? What is said over and over and over? The point of it all?  God desperately loves us, even when the feeling is not mutual. God desperately loves us and He will do   a n y t h i n g   to win us for Himself.  He will do anything for us to love Him in return. He has passionately and boldly sought after us.  He is seeking you out even now!!  How is it you think you're reading these words?  God's direction.  He wants you to fully know Him and how much He loves you and yearns for you to feel the same way about Him. Its true and nothing else matters. nothing.

Colossians 1:27, "To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

Gentiles are anyone who is not Jewish.  He is saying here that Christ came for us all not only for the Jews who were given the promises and the prophesies to begin with, all recorded in the Old Testament of the Bible.   Christ in us is the glorious riches promised.

2 Corinthians 4:7, "But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us."

People are these jars of clay as Adam was created from the clay of the earth. Christ is our treasure.

John 3:16-17, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
